The NEMC Technical Concierge program provides coordinated access to a curated network of shared microelectronics technical facilities across the Northeast, the United States more broadly and Canada. They include nanofabrication labs, chip foundries, testing and characterization facilities, packaging services and more.

What the Technical Concierge Gives You
Finding the right fabrication, packaging or testing facility is one of the hidden bottlenecks in the lab-to-fab journey. The Technical Concierge removes that friction — giving NEMC members a single, organized entry point to the region's distributed network of shared resources, with tools to locate, filter, compare, and connect.
Facility Directory
Filter facilities by capability, substrate size and material, institution or location. Each listing links to equipment inventories, access instructions and direct contact.
Tool Database
Search across the network's equipment inventory to find specific tools from electron-beam lithography systems to RF test benches before you ever pick up the phone.
Map of Facilities
Visualize the network geographically. Plan multisite engagements. See which facilities are near your team, your suppliers or your target fab partner.
Resources
A curated calendar of technically-focused facility seminars, open-access events and workshops across the network open to NEMC members and the research community.
The Network
The Technical Concierge spans a deliberately broad cross-section of the regional innovation ecosystem from elite university nanofabrication labs and defense-sector foundries to specialized commercial facilities and federal research labs. The full directory spans five capability categories:
Nanofabrication & Cleanrooms
Photolithography, etch, deposition, and process development in ISO-class environments.
Chip Foundry Services
GaN, GaAs, CMOS, and III-V foundry runs including multi-project wafer (MPW) programs to share mask costs.
Testing & Characterization
Electrical, optical, and RF characterization; imaging and materials analysis; and reliability testing.
Packaging & Assembly
Advanced packaging, assembly and test services bridging die-level completion to system integration.
EDA & Design Support
Electronic design automation (EDA) training centers and design advisory services, including Cadence and Draper-supported offerings.
How it Works
The NEMC Member Portal provides full access to the Technical Concierge's tools and directory. Three access models are available across the network, depending on the facility:
Use the facility directory or tool database to identify facilities that match your capability needs. Filter by substrate size, substrate material, fabrication process, geography or institution type. Each listing shows quick facts, equipment inventories and contact links.
Each facility listing includes a dedicated Technical Concierge inquiry link, pre-tagged so facilities know you're coming through the NEMC network. For complex engagements or multi-facility coordination, the Technical Concierge can assist with introductions and navigating access processes.
Technical Concierge Affiliate facilities have established coordinated access protocols that streamline user onboarding across the network. Whether you need a single tool run or an ongoing multisite prototyping partnership, the Technical Concierge helps you start on solid footing.
