Halfman@masstech.orgMark Halfman is the Director of the Northeast Microelectronics Coalition (NEMC) Hub at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative. NEMC’s mission is to create a vibrant, well-connected microelectronics ecosystem that meets the needs of the U.S. Department of Defense while fostering genuine engagement across the region to provide sustainable lab-to-fab enablement and strengthen the domestic workforce.
Mark brings over 20 years of technology commercialization experience to the role, previously holding leadership positions at public semiconductor companies Xilinx and Qualcomm as well as venture-backed startups including Pixtronix and American Robotics. Having worked cross-functionally to establish a variety of product development and production ecosystems, he is well-versed in bridging the innovative technology “valley of death” and successfully transitioning emerging solutions from lab-to-fab.
Mark holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego, and an M.B.A. from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
